East Anglian coverage: Our own engineers cover Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire and some of Herts and we can offer a national service through our fellow members of the British Fire Consortium. The above are the main bullet points of what we do, for more information read on: Further Fire Alarm features:We fit both conventional (zoned) systems and analogue addressable systems, these indicate exactly where the alarm has been raised and not just the zone. We also fit interlinkable mains/battery smoke detectors, as are often required in rental accomodation, these comply to BS5839 part 6 (usually required). Door retainers can be fitted to hold open doors fitted with closing devices until the fire alarm is activated. Rotating beacons can be included in a system where background noise is high to supplement sounders, these are also useful in hotels and other properties to ensure compliance with the Disability Discrimination Act, alerting the hard of hearing. If the fire alarm needs to trigger another action for example the closing of a roller shutter door or shutting down a ventillation system, this is possible. Emergency Lighting Features:We can fit both the standard bulkhead type of fitting and the exit type incorporation a fire exit sign, usually used to indicate an exit door. Units can be "Non maintained", which means they are normally in standby (off) and light up when the mains feed to them fails, this is the usual type. They can also be "Maintained", this means they can also be switched on and off or are permanently on. |
